We are tightly regulated

Instant Global Payments is licensed as an Independent Remittance Dealer (Account number: 100559458) and is also regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC). Essentially, this assures our customers that the identity all employees authorised to process their payments has been independently verified by the Australian Government and all transactions we process are directly monitored and reported to AUSTRAC.

You can verify our registration with AUSTRAC through their website: AUSTRAC Remittance Register.

We are part of the payment community

We were founded by financial services industry veteran Chris Dwyer. Chris founded eMatters, one of the first credit card and direct debiting providers in Australia. He grew eMatters into a successful company and it was eventually acquired by Ezidebit in 2012. Ezidebit went on to be acquired and now the infrastructure Chris built is used as the framework behind a highly successful publically listed company.

Our other co-founder, Henry Newton, brings a depth of knowledge about the international funds transfer processes and has played an integral in developing our back-end infrastructure. Henry has worked in businesses that source products from around the world and has first-hand experienced the terrible exchange rates they receive when paying overseas suppliers.

We act with integrity

To further support the integrity of Instant Global Payments operations, we are dedicated to implementing leading anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing standards. To comply with our legal and ethical obligations we must identify each of our customers to mitigate the risk that their payments are connected to money laundering and terrorist financing. We implement policies in line with the objectives of the Financial Action Task Force; to support the integrity of international payments.

Internal Protection Policies

We have implemented state of the art independent internal verification systems to ensure the integrity of our processes. Simply, this means that everything we do is automatically double checked by our system. This pro-actively and concurrently ensures that everything goes smoothly.
